One may not immediately think of visiting Moldova, but we’ve now been there twice! Moldova's Festival of Creative Industries FIC offers a sense of adventure and discovery as attendees and guests stumble upon incredible talents they might have otherwise missed in bigger, more commercialized events. Blending a lineup of lesser-known artists with big industry names, the event has an authentic grassroots feel. 

Conferences and festivals in Moldova usually involve art exhibitions, live evening concerts and visits to wineries, especially as this small country holds records for the world’s largest wine cellars. 

Creative Director Marcel Ziul spent hours meeting local artists and sharing portfolio building advice, highly important for such a fast-paced emerging creative community.

One of the emotional highlights was showcasing our short film Feelings, produced in collaboration with several teams and freelancers from Moldova earlier this year.

Oh, and we’re totally in love with Via Dacă, a band we had the pleasure listening to live during one of the Festival’s evening concerts. 

We’re excited to see the festival grow and can’t wait to be back!
