R&D Goes International
Guess what? R&D, our motion graphics community event, is spreading its wings and going global! We took our vibes on the road and brought the party to motion design aficionados everywhere.
After basking in the glow of our first-ever international event in São Paulo last November, we thought, "Why stop there?".
The energy, the vibes, the sheer awesomeness of it all—it was like a motion design carnival, and we want more.

Fernando Jurado, permalance at StateFor upcoming international events, we aim to have a local speaker (or someone of local heritage) and an overseas guest speaker. We had some heavy hitters on the R&D São Paulo stage: Claire Kang, the mastermind behind Nike's global art direction, and Marcel Ziul, the creative guru at State.
If you know State, you may already know that we work with a wide pool of Brazilian talents. No wonder R&D São Paulo made us feel feelings. We set up portfolio review sessions to meet new talents and caught up with mograph friends, old and new. And hey, seeing Zoom buddies in the flesh? It's like meeting celebrities!
As R&D goes global, we keep the inspiring talks free for audiences because we believe money should not be a barrier to knowledge.
