Every animation studio has its signature opening move. Some use hopping lamps. Others have castles. We got to help Netflix Animation Studios make something that was all their own.
On this one we learned all about crushed knees, broken ribs and torn muscles. And spandex. Oh, and nipple surgery. Traumatizing? Not as much as the real American Gladiators experience back in the ’90s.
We’re thrilled to re-unite with Campfire and directors Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) and Tony Vainuku (Untold, In Football We Trust) to create in-story animations and archival recreations for the new Netflix doc series #MusclesandMayhem.
We also designed the main titles, completing a full-spectrum visual package with a POV-driven opening that translates the physicality and spectacle of American Gladiators into a stylized visual language.
For Taylor Swift’s new doc series, we partnered with our friends at Disney+ on a teaser that included a detail fans would recognize instantly.
If you know, you know. And the Swifties? They know.
Beam aboard our creative cosmos for Paramount+’s Strange New Worlds! Our team boldly ventured where no designer has gone before, conjuring up an array of diverse worlds that would make even Klingons jealous. Turning our sci-fi dreams into warp-speed reality.
We partnered with Nickelodeon to build a visual system for the Kids’ Choice Awards fun, fast, and built for live TV chaos.
Enter ✨The Toolkit✨ which delivered modular backgrounds, icons, text, and slime, ready to mix, match, and render in record time without losing creativity.
We love a challenge with a little crunch. Teaming up with Cheetos and Sphere Entertainment, we let Chester loose on Vegas: bigger, louder, and brighter than ever.
New tools, new territory, and a lot of orange dust later, we turned Sphere’s massive screen into a glowing snack beacon in the desert.
Audible asked us to personify Kevin Hart’s Monsters for his new audiobook. We went all in to portray each of these monsters. But the biggest challenge was to keep our chuckles while shooting with Kevin.
Created for the Players series, the main title keeps things simple on purpose. Bold color, clean shapes, no extra noise. Everything moves through seamless transitions because hard cuts felt like too much effort.
From the grit of the UEFA Champions League, to the heart of Forrest Gump, diving into SpongeBob, passing through the confidence of Mean Girls, and echoing the legacy of The Godfather (yes, we left the cannoli) we pulled from the platform’s most iconic stories to show that mountains come in many forms.
For Legion’s final season, we developed mind-bending Nouveau-60’s visuals that would make your burnt-out uncle, Mitch, flashback so hard.
Celebrity talent, everyday Chrome. A mixed-media look at how these superstars use Google Chrome to move through their days and support the things they care about. Created with Google and Laundry Service.
For Netflix’s “Jupiter’s Legacy,” we had to put our Cintiqs to rest and ensure our render farms understood we didn't want to use cel shaders here. We pulled out our GC skills and combined them with our love for comics to make those transitions slick. Oh yeah, Superheroes are always the freaking best.
