Interbrand

We are STATE, and we've been helping brands bring strategy to life through design, animation, motion systems, and live action. We work with teams to translate brand thinking into visual experiences that move across campaigns, products, events, social, broadcast, and digital touchpoints.

Over the years, we've partnered with brands including Google, Netflix, Slack, Beats, Yahoo, Paramount+, and Gusto, creating everything from launch campaigns and brand films to scalable creative systems that keep identities consistent while allowing them to evolve.

We'd love to connect and explore ways to support Interbrand as an extension of your team, helping transform brand strategy into motion-led experiences that carry ideas consistently across every touchpoint.

The Work

Netflix Animation

Every animation studio has its signature opening move. Some use hopping lamps. Others have castles.

We got to help Netflix Animation Studios make something that was all their own.

Apple

For our friends at Apple, we crafted 30 heart-shaped idents to build a modular animation library. The result? A toolkit of weekly spots for the Games section of the App Store. Each one fresh, fun, and ready to play.

Sphere - Cheetos

Our work lit up the biggest canvas on Earth, the Sphere in Las Vegas.

We trapped Chester Cheetos inside that massive dome, and he looked so freaking good that we couldn’t resist… we downed 10 bags of Cheetos before the project even wrapped.

Afeela

To introduce Afeela, we built a bold cel-animated world designed to make the car look as smart as it actually is. By blending live-action footage with handcrafted animation, we created a series of spots that feel premium, functional, and confidently forward-looking.

Google - Life Unfolds

We tried to fold every single object in this project with our pals at WTBR and Google to portray the brilliant mind of Nobuyuki Yamaga, a traditional Japanese origami artist. His unique approach to making beautiful origami while dealing with blindness is a real inspiration to all of us.

Google Pixel 9

We busted out all our top-tier hand gestures (think: finger guns and dramatic pointing) for the Google Pixel 9 After Party. Oh, and yeah, we threw in a phone—because apparently, that’s important. Big love to the creative geniuses at Ogilvy NY for making sure we didn’t just stop at jazz hands!

Superhuman AI

Play Video

This spot for our friends at Superhuman + Grammarly moves like someone who’s already cleared their inbox. Fast, intentional, no wasted motion. With AI handling the noise, the story wasn’t about email overlords, it was about what happens when they finally back off.

Dell

A polished mix of live action and motion built around the feel of the XPS line. Clean compositions, subtle transitions, and graphic overlays keep the focus on performance while giving the piece a more expressive edge.

The work also expands into social and toolkit assets, keeping the campaign consistent across different formats. Currently airing during the NBA Playoffs, which means our transitions are technically getting more screen time than some benches.

Nickelodeon KCA

We partnered with Nickelodeon to build a visual system for the Kids’ Choice Awards fun, fast, and built for live TV chaos.

"The Toolkit" delivered modular backgrounds, icons, text, and slime, ready to mix, match, and render in record time without losing creativity.

Paramount+

From the grit of the UEFA Champions League, to the heart of Forrest Gump, diving into SpongeBob, passing through the confidence of Mean Girls, and echoing the legacy of The Godfather (yes, we left the cannoli) we pulled from the platform’s most iconic stories to show that mountains come in many forms.
