We are STATE, and we've been helping fintech and financial brands turn complex products, services, and data into clear, engaging visual stories through design, animation, and motion systems.
Over the years, we've partnered with companies across the finance space, including Gusto, Betterment, Earnin, Splash Financial, and Yahoo Finance, creating everything from brand campaigns and product launches to content ecosystems that help build trust, drive adoption, and simplify sophisticated offerings.
I'd love to connect and explore opportunities to support Rave and Morning Star's brand, product marketing, or content initiatives.

Not a one-and-done kinda project. With Gusto, we’ve built a modular motion ecosystem: different stories, same world. A brand voice that’s fresh, expressive, and unmistakably Gusto.
Every animation studio has its signature opening move. Some use hopping lamps. Others have castles. We got to help Netflix Animation Studios make something that was all their own.
For Earnin’s credit card launch, we built a visual system that made finance feel modern.
This campaign treated design like data, using numbers and type to tell a story about value, confidence, and access. It’s a design system that feels analytical yet personal.
A series focused on turning complex financial products into straightforward stories. Illustration and motion help break down topics like student loans and refinancing into simple, approachable moments without losing the substance behind them. This spot for Superhuman + Grammarly moves like someone who’s already cleared their inbox—fast, intentional, no wasted motion. With AI handling the noise, we let motion do the talking: tight edits, bold type, and UI moments that move at inbox-zero speed.
Built around Guideline’s mission of helping small businesses offer retirement benefits, the work uses coins, forms, and architectural structures to visualize growth over time.
