We are STATE, and we help brands bring strategy to life through design, animation, illustration, motion systems, and live action. We collaborate with teams across campaigns, products, events, social, broadcast, and digital.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with technology, entertainment, and consumer brands including Google, Netflix, Yahoo, Beats, Dell, Paramount, and Disney. Our work ranges from launch campaigns and brand films to large-scale installations and illustrated worlds.
For Allwyn, we see an opportunity to turn the brand’s sense of play and possibility into a vibrant 3D world. Inflatable forms and colorful gradients create a tactile, playful, and unexpected experience. We’ve put together a selection of work that reflects the range of styles and techniques we could bring to the collaboration.
We were bursting at the seams to get back into some Dave graphics. All those hours spent staring at those inflatable flailing arms guys finally paid off.
Beam aboard our creative cosmos for Paramount+’s Strange New Worlds! Our team boldly ventured where no designer has gone before, conjuring up an array of diverse worlds that would make even Klingons jealous. Turning our sci-fi dreams into warp-speed reality.
A fully built universe designed to feel unexplainably blissful. ☁️
For Nestlé's Natural Bliss, State developed a campaign that moves between grounded, awkward humor and surreal, dreamlike flavor worlds. Across four TV spots and ten social films, the work blends live action with immersive cloudscapes filled with visual taste cues.
For Legion’s final season, we developed mind-bending Nouveau-60’s visuals that would make your burnt-out uncle, Mitch, flashback so hard.
For our friends at Apple, we crafted 30 heart-shaped idents to build a modular animation library. The result? A toolkit of weekly spots for the Games section of the App Store—each one fresh, fun, and ready to play.
We’ve always loved a good gradient. Seeing ours wrap around the Sphere in Las Vegas made us love them even more.
A whole lot of light, color, and motion for IREN at a very, very large scale.
For Taylor Swift’s new doc series, we partnered with our friends at Disney+ on a teaser that included a detail fans would recognize instantly.
If you know, you know. And the Swifties? They know.
For Gemini Flow, the work turns complex AI processes into something visual and easy to follow. Motion, connections, and flow-based layouts map how ideas move and evolve, making it feel closer to sketching than prompting. Still powered by AI, just a bit easier on the brain.
