Our video intro that sets up the screening!
Hi. We’re STATE. And that’s Lil Dicky. Don’t ya wanna know what we did? “STATE, you a rapper?” Oh hell no. FXX got us illustratin’ like woah-woah.
On this one we learned all about crushed knees, broken ribs and torn muscles. And spandex. Oh, and nipple surgery. Traumatizing? Not as much as the real American Gladiators experience back in the ’90s. We were thrilled to re-unite with Campfire and directors Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) and Tony Vainuku (Untold, In Football We Trust) to create in-story animations and archival recreations for the new Netflix doc series #MusclesandMayhem.
For our friends at Apple, we crafted 30 heart-shaped idents to build a modular animation library. The result? A toolkit of weekly spots for the Games section of the App Store—each one fresh, fun, and ready to play.
Audible asked us to personify Kevin Hart’s Monsters for his new audiobook. We went all in to portray each of these monsters. But the biggest challenge was to keep our chuckles to ourselves while shooting with Kevin.
For this series of spots for Google, we planned, edited, and delivered a variety of content showcasing Chrome’s features through the lens of influencers and celebrities. To bring it all to life, we incorporated animated illustrations that added personality and visual appeal.
Here, we had no time for any jokes. The subject is heavy, but the process of making more than 12 minutes of animation to illustrate one of the most significant mass suicides on earth was pretty intense, too. In the end, we were pretty sure that we didn’t want to leave planet Earth on a spaceship, nor drink any Kool-Aid to see that happen.
Four styles, four regions, four different artists—one vibe. This was a true Global collab with artists and talent around the globe that went far beyond just sharing files on Dropbox. We poured our hearts into this 360 campaign, collaborating with the talented team at Riot. When we say 360, we mean it. Everything from the Hero spot, key art, visualizers, and full design package to the sign that indicates the restrooms, each aspect was designed to immerse you in the world of Valorant. (Big shout out to Google Translate!)
We hopped on a call, and the client assigned us the task of combining SpongeBob and The Godfather. Sounds like a dream, and it was actually Monday. What better way to start our week? Check our final spots and imagine how much fun we had working on them.
For Legion’s final season, we developed mind-bending Nouveau-60’s visuals that would make your burnt-out uncle, Mitch, flashback so hard.
One spot. Multiple IPs. One of the biggest brands in the world. Yep—we pulled it off, smoothly.
Beam aboard our creative cosmos for Paramount+’s Strange New Worlds! Our team boldly ventured where no designer has gone before, conjuring up an array of diverse worlds that would make even Kliggons jealous. Turning our sci-fi dreams into warp-speed reality.
Our latest soccer adventure? Transforming our love for hometown soccer teams into high fueled animations with no red cards! Dragon, sheep, and flames? Oh my.
These Idents we made for FXX are evil I tells ya. Evil! EEEEEEVIIIIIIL!!!
Our calorie intake went through the roof while making gigantic environments of donuts, cupcakes, and lollipops. On top of that, we added some people, mini trucks, and a Sasquatch to the mix! Ultimately, we are still processing how these in-show idents and bumpers for FX’s show Cake came to life. We don’t know what happened, but it looks delicious.
Our message to the world through Alan Watts' voice.
